  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. pineapple yogurt
  • 1/3 c. crushed pineapple
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 6 egg whites, stiffly beaten

    Cream butter and sugar. Separate eggs and drop yolks into creamed mixture. (Put whites aside.) Beat thoroughly. Add half of flour with half of yogurt; mix, then add balance of flour, yogurt and soda. Add pineapple and vanilla. Beat about 3 minutes; whip egg whites and fold into batter. Spoon into Bundt cake pan and bake about 1 hour 15 minutes at 350°. Cool and cover with Pineapple Glaze or your favorite icing.
