- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup, undrained
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 slices bread, cubed
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, melted
Directions

1Combine undrained pineapple and eggs.

2Mix together sugar, flour and salt.

3Add to pineapple mixture.

4Pour into a greased 1-1/2 quart baking dish.

5Toss bread cubes in melted butter and place on top of pineapple mixture.

6Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes.

7Yield 4 to 6 servings.

8You may serve cold or warm dolloped with plain whipped topping or top with mixture of whipped topping and a little cherry pie filling.
