  • 3 cardamom pods
  • Ice
  • 1 ounce aged rum
  • 1 ounce bourbon, preferably overproof
  • 1/2 ounce agave nectar
  • 1/2 ounce pineapple juice
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • Dash of Angostura bitters
  • Dash of Peychauds bitters
  • 1 cardamom shoot, for garnish (optional)

Directions

    In a cocktail shaker, lightly muddle the cardamom pods.

    Add ice and all of the remaining ingredients except the cardamom shoot and shake well.

    Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish.
