- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/3 cup shortening (Crisco)
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 egg
- milk
Directions

1Combine flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.

2Cut in butter and shortening.

3Add raisins.

4Beat the egg in a 8 ounce measuring cup.

5Add enough milk to make 1 cup liquid.

6Add to flour mixture and mix to make a soft dough.

7Divide dough in half.

8Place each half on lightly floured board.

9Pat out into 1 thick circle.

10Cut into 6 triangles and place on cookie sheet.

11Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.

12This freezes well and a few seconds in the microwave oven and they taste fresh.
