Ingredients
- 1 fresh 15 pound turkey
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Nature's Seasons seasoning mix, to taste
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

2Remove the neck, liver and heart from the turkey.

3Rinse turkey with cold water inside and out.

4Dry off the turkey.

5Rub vegetable oil, salt, pepper and Nature's seasons on both sides of the turkey.

6Place turkey breast side down on a V-rack inside a shallow roasting pan.

7Mold aluminum foil tightly to the turkey.

8Place turkey in oven and cook for about 3 1/2 hours (15 minutes per pound).

9When there is about a 1/2 hour left in your cooking time, remove the foil and flip the turkey breast side up to brown.

10The turkey is done when the meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh not touching the bone reads 175 to 180 degrees.

11Let stand for about 20 minutes before carving.
