- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 to 2 cans water
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- pinch of thyme
- 2 lb. shrimp
- 1/8 tsp. red pepper
Directions

1Heat oil over medium heat, add onion and cook until soft, about 6 minutes.

2Stir garlic and bell pepper and saute 2 minutes. Blend in flour; add tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.

3Stir in water, thyme, parsley and shrimp.

4Simmer 30 minutes.

5Serve over rice.
