Single Crust Pizza Crust

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 to 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2/3 c. water
- 1 1/2 tsp. vegetable oil
- cornmeal
Directions

1Heat water and vegetable oil to 125° to 130°.

2Combine 1 cup flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a large bowl.

3Mix well.

4Add heated water and oil.

5Stir until mixed well.

6Add remaining flour to form soft dough.

7Turn out onto lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes or until smooth and elastic.

8Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.

9Shape or roll dough into 12 inch circle. Grease lightly a 12 inch pizza pan and sprinkle with cornmeal. Place dough on pan, add desired toppings and bake at 425° until crust is golden brown.
