- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 egg
- milk
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients together.

2Put melted butter in a cup, add egg and add milk until it slops over the top of the cup.

3Add to dry ingredients and beat well.

4Turn into 2 greased 8-inch pans and bake at 375° to 400° for 25 to 30 minutes.
