  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. nuts
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions

    Mix flour, brown and white sugars, nutmeg, salt and oil. Reserve 3/4 cup. Add nuts and cinnamon to reserved portion for topping. To first mixture add buttermilk, soda, and beaten egg. Pour mixture into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
