Split Pea Soup

  • 1 lb. green split peas
  • 1 meaty soup bone
  • 1 1/2 c. thinly sliced onion
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. dried crushed marjoram
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 1 c. diced carrots
