- 4 green peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef (uncooked)
- 2 c. cooked rice
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (4 oz.) pkg. Cheddar cheese, grated
Directions

1Cut peppers in half lengthwise.

2Remove seeds and wash; parboil for 5 minutes.

3Combine beef, rice, onion, salt, pepper and 1/2 of sauce.

4Pile mixture into peppers in large baking dish. Pour remaining sauce over each pepper.

5Sprinkle with grated cheese.

6Cover tightly.

7Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

8Makes 4 to 6 servings.
