  • 5 lb. potatoes
  • 4 large onions, chopped
  • 1 gal. mixed vegetables
  • 2 gal. tomatoes
  • 10 lb. ground beef
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • hot sauce (optional)
  • cooked rice, spaghetti or macaroni (optional)
  • pinch of soda
  • pinch of sugar
  • other vegetables (if desired)

Directions

    Peel

    potatoes and

    cut into cubes.

    Cook potatoes and onions until potatoes are tender.

    Brown meat and drain, then mix

    with potatoes

    onions.

    Add mixed vegetables, salt, pepper,

    sugar (to taste).

    Simmer on low heat for approximately 1 hour.
