- 1/2 c. (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. apricot jam
- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1/4 c. finely chopped walnuts
- 1/4 c. confectioners sugar for sprinkling
Directions

1Cream the butter and cream cheese until fluffy.

2Add the flour and knead until smooth.

3Wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

4Roll out dough 1/8-inch thick and cut into 2-inch squares. Place 1/4 teaspoon jam on each and fold diagonally.

5Press down around edges and place on cookie sheets in crescent shape.

6Beat together egg yolk and milk.

7Brush glaze onto cookie and sprinkle with chopped nuts.

8Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden.

9Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
