- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 c melted margarine
- 2 egg whites
- 2 c milk
Directions

1In a large bowl, beat egg yolks with mixture until light.

2Add sugar and milk, blend well.

3Sift flour and add gradually to egg mixture.

4Pour in margarine and stir to blend.

5In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff.

6Fold into batter with rubber spatula. Cook in a hot waffle iron until steaming stops, or cook as pancakes on griddle.

7This batter keeps well in refrigerator for several days.
