- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup Land O Lakes Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 Half Stick (1/4 cup) Land O Lakes Butter
- 2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 24 (7-inch) thick pretzel rods
- 6 ounces chocolate-flavored candy coating (almond bark), chopped
- Brown decorator jimmies
- 24 whole almonds
Directions

1Place large sheet of aluminum foil onto flat surface.

2Butter foil or spray with no-stick cooking spray.

3Combine sugar, corn syrup, whipping cream and butter in 2-quart saucepan.

4Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, 4-6 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil.

5Reduce heat to medium; continue cooking, stirring occasionally, 20-25 minutes or until candy thermometer reaches 240F or small amount of mixture dropped into ice water forms a soft pliable ball.

6Remove from heat.

7Add baking chocolate and vanilla; stir until chocolate is melted.

8Pour chocolate mixture into 2-cup glass measuring cup or bowl.

9Dip each pretzel rod 2/3 into mixture, spreading chocolate to cover.

10Let excess drip back into cup.

11Place pretzels onto prepared foil, rotating if desired, for an even coating.

12Let stand until set.

13Place candy coating in bowl.

14Microwave 1 minute; stir.

15Continue microwaving, stirring every 15 seconds, 1-2 minutes or until melted.
