Wilted Lettuce

  • 1 large head lettuce
  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 4 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. pickle juice (sweet)

Directions

    Break head of lettuce into pieces about 3-inch square.

    Cook bacon until crisp.
  3. 3
    Remove bacon from grease and stir into grease the mustard and add pickle juice.

    Crumble bacon over lettuce and pour almost hot grease over lettuce and bacon.

    Terrible for the arteries, but soooo good.
