  • 2 c. warm water
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. melted butter or shortening
  • 2 pkg. RapidRise yeast
  • 5 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. extra flour for kneading

Directions

    Mix first 6 ingredients in fairly large bowl.

    Stir in flour. Let rise until doubled, then make into rolls using more flour and kneading with hands.

    Put into well-greased pan or pans and let rise until doubled.

    Bake in 375° oven for 20 minutes or until browned.
