- 1 medium large head cabbage
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- salt and pepper
- 4 Tbsp. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Chop cabbage fine and drop into boiling salted water for about 8 minutes.

2Prepare white sauce by combining butter, flour and milk in a saucepan.

3Put saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.

4Add cheese.

5Arrange layers of drained cabbage, white sauce and eggs; repeat.

6Top with bread crumbs dotted with butter and bake at 350° for about 30 minutes.
