  • 2 c. cooked, mashed carrots
  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar or brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. milk

Directions

    Place in a buttered casserole pan or a buttered mold.

    Set in a pan of hot water and bake in a moderate oven (350°) until firm, about 45 minutes.

    Turn out of pan and surround with hot, buttered peas.
