- 5 medium carrots, peeled and cut into sticks (about 1 lb)
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced (about 1 tbsp)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 1 tablespoon fresh tarragon or 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper
Directions

1Combine carrots, water, oil and half of garlic in heavy saucepan.

2Cover and simmer over medium-low heat for 14 minutes or until carrots are tender-crisp.

3Stir in parsley, basil, remaining garlic, salt & pepper.

4Cover and cook 5 minutes or until carrots are tender.
