- 2 c. salt
- 1 gal. water
- 3 Tbsp. alum
- 1 qt vinegar
- 2 qts. sugar
- 3 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 tsp. turmeric
- mixed spice to taste
Directions

1Boil above and pour over cucumbers.

2Boil liquid and pour back over cucumbers every day for 3 days.

3On the 4th day pack cucumbers in jar.

4Boil liquid and pour over cucumbers and seal.
