- 1/2 (16 oz.) pkg. dry split green peas
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 3 chicken bouillon cubes
- dash of cayenne pepper
- 1 medium carrot, sliced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. curry powder
Directions

1About 1 hour before serving, in 4-quart saucepan over medium heat, heat peas, remaining ingredients and 5 cups water to boiling.

2Reduce heat and simmer 50 minutes or until peas are tender.
