Ingredients

  • 6 c. oatmeal
  • 1/2 c. peanuts or seed
  • 1/2 c. coconut
  • 1/2 c. powdered milk
  • 1/2 c. wheat germ
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. prunes or dry fruit
  • 2/3 c. honey
  • 2/3 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 c. milk

Directions

    Toast oatmeal for 10 minutes in a 350° oven.

    Combine with peanuts, coconut, powdered milk, wheat germ, raisins and prunes. Add honey, oil, vanilla, egg and milk.

    Mix well.

    Press firmly on well-greased 10 x 15-inch pan.

    Bake until brown, about 23 minutes at 350°.

    Cut immediately and refrigerate overnight.

    Bake again at 345° for 40 minutes.
