  • 4 lb. rump roast
  • 3 c. beef broth (I make broth with bouillon cubes)
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. paprika
  • 4 bay leaves
  • pepper

Directions

    Bake roast at 325°, about 1 1/2 hours, uncovered, until medium well done.

    Cool.

    Slice very thin.

    In large pan simmer remaining ingredients.

    Add beef slices and simmer 1 hour or until done. Serve on hard rolls.

    Spoon juice over meat on rolls.
