- 3 lb. rump, chuck or shoulder roast
- 1/3 c. suet
- 1/2 c. hot water
- salt and pepper
- flour
Directions

1Rub meat with flour, salt and pepper.

2Melt suet in a heavy kettle or Dutch oven.

3Add meat; sear.

4Add water, cover tightly and cook slowly about 4 hours or until tender.

5More water may be used, if necessary.
