- 3 medium yellow squash, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. fine cracker crumbs
- 1/3 c. Velveeta cheese, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 4 Tbsp. butter, divided
Directions

1Cook squash and onion in small amount of water until tender. Drain.

2Add crumbs (reserve 1 tablespoon for top), cheese, egg, salt and 2 tablespoons butter.

3Put in greased casserole dish and top with rest of crumbs.

4Dot with 2 tablespoons of butter.

5Bake at 375° for 15 minutes or until brown.
