  • 8 fresh turnips, peeled and sliced (about 2 1/2 lb.)
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover and cook over medium heat 40 minutes or until tender.
