Apricot Chicken

  • 6 split chicken breasts, skinned and boned
  • 1/4 c. margarine, melted
  • 2 tsp. Mrs. Dash seasoned salt substitute
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 c. unsweetened pure apricot preserves

Directions

    Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and brush with melted margarine.

    Sprinkle with seasoned salt substitute and garlic powder.

    Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    Drain the excess fat and juice from the chicken and brush the apricot jam on each piece of chicken with a pastry brush.

    Return to the oven and bake an additional 15 minutes.
