  • 6 whole chicken breasts, skinned and boned
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 c. soy sauce
  • 1/8 c. lemon juice
  • 1 lb. mushrooms, sliced and divided
  • 10 green onions, sliced and divided
  • 1/4 c. melted butter, divided
  • 12 slices thick bacon

Directions

    Place chicken between two sheets of heavy-duty plastic wrap. Pound to 1/4 inch thickness, using a mallet or rolling pin.

    Place chicken in large shallow container; set side.

    Combine molasses, ginger, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, oil and lemon juice; stir well.

    Pour mixture over chicken breasts and marinate 8 hours in refrigerator.

    Saute mushrooms and green onions in 1/8 cup butter, stirring constantly until liquid has evaporated.
