Ingredients
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- 3/4 c. Crisco oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. water
- 6 to 7 c. plain flour
Directions

1Mix yeast in warm water.

2Stir well.

3Add sugar; mix.

4Add egg; mix.

5Add salt; mix.

6Add oil; stir well.

7Gradually add 1 cup of flour at a time until right consistency (you can handle the dough without it sticking to your fingers).

8Place dough in large bowl and let rise at least 1 hour in a warm place (be sure to cover with a towel).

9Punch down.

10Make rolls by pinching off small amount, flattening, folding in half.

11Place on cookie sheet. Let rise (about 1 hour).

12Bake at 350° for about 12 minutes or until lightly brown.
